Dale is a heavily plot-influential "character" in Michael's Camera. Dale was the imaginary friend of Michael KnightDale knew what was up.

Michael apparently has Dale in his possession already when he begins recording his vlog series. Dale first appears in "2) Friends", as Michael is having an "episode" due to his medication.

The Knight Shift

At the conclusion of The Knight Shift, after Michael finishes reading Ellpagg's journal, he realizes that he left Dale behind in The Beyond. The video ends with Michael apparently going to look for him.

Michael's Camera (S3)

Michael believes that Dale "died" under unknown circumstances. However, Persophelous Crow reveals that Dale was never really alive, and had been an inanimate doll the entire time. Michael (under the orders of Crow) tries to summon an Arkn and trap it inside of Dale, so that it can be killed. However, the attempt fails (as there is apparently something already contained within Dale), and Michael accidentally summons a prophet named Cecil Xenith instead.

Azrael later releases a shard of Malek from within Dale, which takes him over briefly to help him fight The Carver. What becomes of Dale after this is unknown.

Dale is able to contain the souls of others, as demonstrated by its confinement (or housing) of a shard of Malek. It is later revealed that this is due to Dale being an Arkn Trap.

  • Cecil Xenith refers to Dale as "The Weed Doll" in the Michael's Camera episode "Summoning an Arkn".
  • Strangely enough, Samael seems to know exactly how Dale can be used upon picking up the doll in the Michael's Camera episode "Out of the Nest".
    • This may be because Samael is a former Arkn himself, and can sense that Dale is an Arkn Trap.
  • The shard of Malek contained in Dale is "Wrath".
